Abortion is a very emotional and controversial subject. Our purpose is to discover God's view of abortion as reflected in the Word of God.

1. We are not interested in the opinion of the ACLU (The American Civil Liberties Union is an organization of liberals who are anti-God—they attack anything that stands for God).
2. Nor the United States Supreme Court's position on abortion.
3. Nor the Republican Party's opinion on abortion.
4. Nor the Democratic Party's opinion on abortion.
5. Nor the Feminist Movement's opinion on abortion.

We want God's opinion, and that is the only opinion that matters!

Here are some questions we are going to answer from God's Word:

1. Is the fetus considered human life, or is it just a blob of flesh?
2. When is life recognized in the womb? (The Word of God gives a very clear answer about that.
3. Is there a penalty to pay for the loss of life in the womb? (God's Word answers that.)
4. Does the fetus have personality, or is it a blob of flesh?
5. Does the woman have the right over her own body, over the fetus? (This is answered in the Word of God.)
6. Is there a judgment on legislators who pass legislation making godless things possible? (It is answered in the Word of God.)
7. Is the notion that lives lived contrary to the Word of God brought directly under a curse? And is the land under the wrath of God? (That is answered in the Word of God.)

There is much emotion about abortion, but there needs to be knowledge about abortion. If the Supreme Court ruled tomorrow that abortion is illegal, the American people would still need to be convinced in their thinking and attitude that abortion is wrong before God. The law will not bring instant purity. Purity comes when the heart of the nation is determined to live according to the dictates of God. Even if the Supreme Court rules abortion illegal—no more abortions—there would be hundreds of thousands of abortions. Why? Because people in their hearts and thinking are in rebellion against God and his laws.

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. . . ." The word destroyed in the original Hebrew text is damah, "to be silent, to fail, to perish, or find defeat." The translation is "My people will be silent and hence fail, or perish, or be defeated for a lack of knowledge. . . ." There is a lack of knowledge in the Body of Christ about this subject—not a lack of emotion or opinion, but a lack of knowledge.

Jesus said, ". . .the truth will set you free." (John 8:32, NIV). It's the knowledge of the truth that sets you free. God's Word is truth. Paul says it plainly, ". . .let God be true, but every man a liar. . . ." (Romans 3:4, KJV).

God's Word will prevail. Let us preach it; preach it—God's truth. We must not be silent. We must bring God's word to the forefront—not hide the Gospel.

God's Word is truth. When we reject the truth, we have embraced a lie.

The purpose of this message is to gather from the Word of God, truth.

So, we are going to read here from the Word of God—chapter to chapter, book to book—and obey the power of the Word—line upon line, precept upon precept. God's Word will be presented like evidence before a court, before a jury.

Here is a lesson from the prophet Jonah. Jonah has been commissioned by the Lord to go to Nineveh with a message of repentance. Nineveh (capital of Assyria) is the enemy much like Russia was the enemy of America over the past years. Jonah had no love for Nineveh. He had a message from God, and that was a one-word message, "Repent."

So Jonah went and he preached his message, "Repent" but only after God gave him a one-way ride in the belly of the fish to get him where he need to go.

And to Jonah's shock, Nineveh repented! The king commanded everyone in the kingdom to put on sackcloth and ashes; to eat no bread and drink no water and that pagan country repented before God. God sent forgiveness and God sent revival in the land of Assyria!

Rather than being happy, Jonah was angry and he went and sat under a juniper tree and began to pout because God didn't do what he wanted God to do.

Have you ever become irritated with what God has done? God answered Jonah,

10 . . . Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:
11 And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand [120,000] persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle? (Jonah 4:10-11, KJV).

This statement in verse 11 is very important. God said, "I am sparing Nineveh because there are 120,000 people that don't know their right hand from their left. . . ." God is saying, "I am sparing Nineveh for the 120,000 children that are there. . . ."

14 But Jesus said, suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 19:14, KJV).

The Word of God gives a very loving, compassionate position to children. God and his Son loved children. Jesus, in his teaching, picked children up, kissed them, embraced them, and blessed them. Why don't we?

In the Old Testament, orphans were permitted to harvest the corners of the field—they were permitted to beat the trees. A farmer was not permitted to go over his fruit trees but once, to get the first fruit. The orphans and the widows were then permitted to go into the fields and beat the trees—the Old Testament manner to provide for the preservation of children and mothers. The Bible says, "Angels defend children." The Bible also says, "Children are an inheritance of the Lord."

What is Abortion? Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy.

What is a Fetus? The Fetus is a developing Human Being.

Before Roe v. Wade, abortions were allowed only in extreme cases. Then on January 22, 1973, the Supreme Court of the United States reversed a legal position on abortion. Abortions were allowed up to six months of development.

Beginning in 1973—and every year afterward—an average of 1.43 million abortions have been performed annually in America. In 30 years—at the rate of about 3,900 babies a day—we have slaughtered 45 million American citizens. Fathom in our minds about 40 times the population of San Antonio, murdered!

Is the Fetus Considered Human Life? This is the crucial question.

Those who are pro-abortion say it is nothing but a blob.

What does God's Word say? Moses writes, "For the life of the flesh is in the blood. . . ." (Leviticus 14:11). "For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof. . . ." (Leviticus 14:14). The point God is making here is that where there is blood, there is life.

God is the Giver of Life. God is the architect of life. He says, "where there is blood, there is life."

Medical science has the ability to pick up life in the womb on the 12^th day—only because medical science is behind God. God, who is the architect of science, can instantly recognize life. We don't start living on the 12^th day. We start living instantly according to the Word of God.

God will forgive anyone who has ever had an abortion. Just ask him.

This is the Word of the Lord. We should be able to pick up this Word, and answer these questions very clearly, regardless of any biblical persuasion.

God says that there are four things he hates:

20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to defile thyself with her. 21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed [children] pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. 22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. 23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion (Leviticus 18:20-23).

In short,

1. Don't lie with your neighbor's wife.
2. Don't sacrifice your children to the pagan god Molech.
3. Don't practice homosexuality.
4. Don't practice bestiality.

Americans generally do not burn their children to death—although a few do in Satan worship. Although we do not burn our children with fire on an altar, we do burn them to death in the womb with saline solution in abortion clinics. We destroy them with forceps, scalpels, scissors and suction machines.

I went to the operating room to make sure it was ready. The instruments were prepared—large dilators, sterilized, yet cool enough. A #16 Cunella which is a tube to insert into the uterus—and forceps, to remove the pieces of the unwanted baby. [It was not a blob of flesh—that cannot be denied.]

I put my hand on Jenny's abdomen and I felt movement. Dr. Harvey proceeded as normal. He cleaned off the cervix with Bedadine, dilated the cervix and suctioned briefly to break the bag of amniotic fluid surrounding the baby. The baby did not move again. He finished suctioning. The next step was to crush the baby inside Jenny's uterus, and then remove the baby piece by piece using the forceps." [Carol Everett, Scarlet Lady (Booth and Hyatt), p.22]

So again, they call this a "glob of flesh" removed by an innocent medical procedure. I think not!

Everett continues,

Painful as it was to admit, I knew we were not helping women have safe abortions. Instead, we were maiming and even killing them. How had this happened?

I remember another patient, a 27-year-old woman from a small town in Arkansas. She was about 20 weeks pregnant. Dr. Johnson examined her and determined that he could do the abortion. He administered a local anesthetic and a small dose of Valium. Harvey then started the abortion.

He discovered the baby was too far advanced. The baby's muscle structure was so strong that the baby would not come apart. After almost an hour on the table with six nurses holding and pulling the woman from Harvey, the baby's body finally separated from the head and finally came out. Then Harvey worked and worked to crush the skull and remove it. It was long ordeal for the woman and the doctor. One of the nurses, Becky, who never reacts to anything, rolled her eyes back in her head and I thought she was going to faint.

After the procedure, the doctor measured the baby's foot. He tried to hide the measurements from me, but I saw it. The baby's body was too large to go down the garbage disposal, so the doctor suggested I take it to their competitor's trash, so if it were found, it would be in their trash, not ours. I wrapped the baby in a paper drape, put it in a brown paper sack and planted it in the other clinic's trash that night." [Carol Everett, Scarlet Lady ( Booth and Hyatt), p. 29]

These are America's abortion mills. Everett said that abortion isn't about women's rights. Abortion is about making big bucks. It is about lots of money—nothing more than money! It is murder for hire—sanctified by the Supreme Court of the United States of America!

Jesus' defined his and Satan's Roles:

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).

Jesus said, "I have come that you may have life."

Satan said, "I have come to rob, to kill, and destroy." [by his actions]

Remember the attack on children in the history of civilization? It was Pharaoh who attacked the Hebrew children and drowned the male babies in the Nile River (Exodus 1:16). It was Herod who slaughtered the children in and near Bethlehem who were two years old and under, trying to stop Jesus Christ from coming to the earth to die for the sins of the world (Matthew 3:16). It is Satan who has the attack of the children in America in his mind. Please understand that the children of America are under the most insidious attack ever in the history of our nation. If they escape the abortion mill, there is the drug pusher on the street. And there is the Satanist trying to recruit them in high school. They are up against it from every front. God's Word says, "Love the children." Satan's objective is to kill the children. Who would you say is having his way in America today?

Our Nation is under a curse.

Is the nation that lives contrary to the Word of God brought directly under a curse and is the land under the wrath of God? Let us again turn to Leviticus 18:

20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to defile thyself with her. 21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed [children] pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. 22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. 23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. 24 Defile not ye yourselves [italics mine] in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: 25 And the land is defiled: there I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. 26 Ye shall therefor keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you: 27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled [italics mine];)" (Leviticus 18:20-27).

God says when these things happen in your nation, the land is defiled.

If we know anything about the holiness and justice of God, when God gets fed up with a nation, here are the things that happen in rapid succession:

1. God begins by sending drought. Then,
2. He sends floods. Then,
3. He sends earthquakes. Then,
4. He sends economic depression.

We have had drought in the United States. We have had floods in the U. S. last year. This year we are having earthquakes all over this country. California can't stop shaking. The next thing coming is the economic destruction of the United States. This all because of the blood of children who have been murdered in American abortion Clinics. It will happen.

God's Message to America:

I hear the blood of the innocent crying, and I behold the tears of every child that is murdered in its mother's womb. I am their Avenger. America, you are under my judgment because you have taken the life that I have given. You have destroyed it and you must answer for it.

This is God's statement to the United States of America. The wrath of God is here and it's going to get worse!

Hitler's Holocaust and America's Holocaust

Compare Adolf Hitler and his Holocaust with America's abortions as our holocaust. [Hitler murdered 6,000,000 Jews and 5,000,000 Gentiles. America has murdered 43,000,000 children.—ed] Consider the fact that Adolf Hitler taught that Jews were sub-human. (We will not take the time to state his Nazi philosophy.) On America's side of the ledger, we have declared that preborn babies are a blob of flesh—not really human.

Hitler said, "Jews should be killed en masse." We are now slaughtering 3,900 babies per day.

Then Hitler said that the ashes of the Jews were to make soap. In America the fetus is being used to manufacture cosmetics. And the fetus is used for medical research. This is an abomination to the LORD thy God.

What is the difference between Hitler and us? Don't turn up our noses at Hitler—we are no worse, no better than he was. Every doctor and nurse who does an abortion is medically equivalent to Dr. Joseph Mengele.

Is the fetus alive?

Let's look at the Word of God:

22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit [child] depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. 23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life [italics mine](Exodus 21:22-23, KJV).

God says any woman with child has life and if harm comes to the fetus you are to pay life for life. God says if you hurt a pregnant woman, and that baby is lost in her womb, you have to forfeit your life because what was in her womb was life—not a blob of flesh.

Let us go to Isaiah:

"1 LISTEN, O isles, unto me; and harken, ye people, from afar; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. . . . . 5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength (Isaiah 49:1,5, KJV).

God would not speak to a lifeless blob. He spoke to life that was in the womb—to Isaiah in his mother's womb.

Continue, please, by going to Jeremiah:

4 Then the Word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations (Jeremiah 1:4-5, KJV).

Would God ordain a meaningless blob? That's not a blob of flesh, but a life with whom God Almighty had a relationship. He said, "I have sanctified you. I have ordained you and I have given you a name."

That is not a blob. He is a living person.

Continue by going to Luke:

14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 15 For he shall be great in the sight of the LORD, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb [italics mine] (Luke 1:14-15, KJV),

This is the story of John the Baptist, filled with the Holy Spirit of God. Now, let us go to Luke:

41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: [Italics mine] (Luke 1:41, KJV).

John the Baptist leaped at the presence of the Holy Spirit, because he was responding to the power of God in his mother's life. A meaningless blob of flesh? Not according to the Word of God! This baby had a spiritual experience before he was ever born.

Turn now to Genesis 25:21-23.

21 And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived. 22 And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD. 23 And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and the two manner of people shall be separated form thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger (Genesis 25:21-23, KJV).

God looks at the fetal life in the womb of Rebecca, and he tells the future of her two children, Esau and Jacob. He said to her, "This is what's going on in your womb—via a divine sonogram—you have twins. Two nations are in your womb and two manner of people shall be separated from your bowels. The one people shall be stronger than the other people and the elder shall serve the younger.

God looked into her womb and he did not see a blob of flesh, but two distinct children.

He knew their names.

He knew their destinies.

He knew their characters.

He knew their temperaments

He knew because they were alive.

He knew because they were people.

He knew because they each had a soul.

He knew because they each had a divine purpose.

They were not flesh to be flushed down the camode in some abortion clinic. They were vessels of God and were precious and holy and deserved the right to live! Praise God!

Next, turn to Psalms:

3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. 4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate (Psalm 127:3-5, KJV).

Consider the fact that America now protects whales and slaughters babies. Consider the fact that the very crowd that's against the death penalty is for abortion. Consider the fact that, in their "logic," they want murderers to live and they want innocent babies to be killed! If you can follow that in your logic, you are ahead of me! It makes no sense other than to know that it is demonic and ungodly. It is time for every American to cease to be silent and raise his voice.

Go to the voting booth and refuse to put any politician in office who stands for abortion. Get pro-abortionists out of office now!

Does the Woman Have the Right Over Her Own Body?

Please turn to 1 Corinthians:

So, here is a very simple, plain, clear Bible fact: Your body does not belong to you. Once that baby is in your body—sharing your body—that baby has a divine right to live, according to the counsel of God!

Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence,

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Life is a Constitutional guarantee [AMENDMENT XIV, Ratified July 9,1868]. We should ask the elected officials of the United States of America, "When are you going to stop the slaughter of the innocents and start upholding the Constitution of the United States of America?" Uphold the Constitution like you promised to do!

Next, turn to Proverbs 6:16-17.

16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood [Italics mine](Proverbs 6:16-17, KJV).

"Hands that shed innocent blood"—An unborn child is innocent. God hates the hands of an abortionist.

God's judgment is on the United States Supreme Court who legalized abortion. God's judgment is on the United States Congress who allowed it to happen by default. God's judgment is on the Executive Branch for supporting abortion.

God's judgment is on legislatures who pass legislation making godless things happen or making them possible. This is clearly demonstrated in Isaiah 10:1,

1. Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed (Isaiah 10:1, KJV).

God clearly says that his judgment is on legislators who pass "unrighteous decrees and write grievousness which they have prescribed."

Can you imagine why our government is such chaos and confusion? It is because they are in violation of the Word of God.

Does God expect believers and those in government to help those who are defenseless? Please turn to Proverbs, where King Lemuel's mother prophesies to him:

8 Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. 9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy (Proverbs 31:8-9, KJV).

God commands us to open our mouths. God says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. . . " (Hosea 4:6).

In Psalms we read:

There are four benefits for those who help the oppressed:

1. God will deliver them.

2. God will preserve their lives.

3. God will bless them.

4. God will heal them.

Rescuing a child from death is like rescuing Jesus. Jesus said, ". . . Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me" (Matthew 25:40, KJV).

How can we stop this slaughter of the unborn? The answer is, stop voting for politicians who are pro-abortion. Stop federal funds for abortion clinics. Christians need to be involved—we need to go to the voting booths. If 40 million Evangelicals in America vote pro-life/anti-abortion, no pro-abortion president and no pro-abortion congressman could go to Washington. That's how it ought to be.

As for politically correct people who say they are pro-choice, Hitler was pro-choice.

The baby in you won't like that saline solution. That's your choice—not the baby's choice.

Murderers are pro-choice. When they stick a gun in your face, it is their choice—not yours.

We assume that we will have freedom forever. If we abuse freedom, we will lose freedom. Abortion is the shedding of innocent blood and the shedding of blood brings the curse of God on the land and loss of freedom.

CONCLUSION

In closing, God avenges innocent blood. In the case of when Cain slew Abel, God said to Cain, "The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground" (Genesis 4:10b). The simple translation of that is, "Blood cries to God for vengeance." God hears innocent blood. God cursed Cain for shedding innocent blood. So America's number one problem now is facing the wrath of God. God will not put up with sin. America has bathed its land in the blood of innocent children. God says it's innocent blood and the land is defiled.

The only thing that can break the curse and stay the hand of God's judgment is national repentance. If America does not repent, there will be a national collapse, orchestrated by the hand of God.

The Word of God: God's opinion—not man's opinion—is what counts. Not CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, Dan Rather, etc., but God and his opinion matter. This is the Word of the LORD.
